The Tepper School of Business at Carnegie Mellon University in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, is seeking a talented Computing Support Manager.
Primary professional responsibilities:
The Computing Support Manager is a senior level position that is responsible for providing higher level computing support to the Tepper community. Manages all support resources for the Tepper community, including; higher level consulting, troubleshooting, and maintenance of hardware and software for faculty, staff and students. Provide direction to computing projects by incorporating the use of technology. Work on assigned system engineering projects and technical training support. The Computing Support Manager will manage a technical staff.
Bachelor degree and/or equivalent training and work experience;
3+ years experience as a system analyst;
Experience in Virtual (VMWARE) environments, data center environments, cloud services and enterprise security;
Experience managing Windows, Linux and Macintosh servers;
3+ years of hands-on experience with direct management of a team is required.
