In this role, you will be a part of the Software Engineering team at Net Health. You will work closely with your scrum team, our Platform Architect, and our other teams to help build robust features that follow our standards and practices and that enhance and extend our xfit™ platform.
To succeed in this role, you will need to be able to communicate well with your colleagues and work in a collaborative environment. You will need to be able to follow coding standards but to also help suggest improvements. You will need a strong ability to adapt to an evolving platform and help ensure that it remains a solid foundation for our products.
What You Will Need To Do:
Design and write code that meets Net Health’s requirements for quality, performance, and usefulness within project timelines
Work as part of a cross-functional team, alongside Net Health’s Product and QA teams, to deliver high quality solutions
Work on new feature development as well as maintenance projects and defect fixes
Work with team members to ensure projects have accurate estimates, meet provided timelines, and fulfill requirements
Work with Product team to provide guidance on project requirements
Complete projects of moderate scope independently
Troubleshoot problems and provide options for possible solutions
Participate in code reviews
What We Need From You:
Experience with the total software development lifecycle from design through maintenance
Strong problem solving and object-oriented design skills
3 - 4 years experience with ASP.NET using C#
3 - 4 years experience with common relational databases (SQL Server, Oracle, MySQL, etc) with a solid understanding of database design and querying
Awareness of basic best practices for secure code design
Experience with modern source control tools and practices
Prefer That You Have:
Experience with current client-side frameworks, tools, and libraries, such as Knockout, Backbone, Underscore, Typescript, and jQuery
Experience with the MVC design pattern and SaaS-based software development
Ability to work with and mentor team members
Experience being a technical lead on a project from start to finish
Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or other comparable area
Basic understanding of healthcare patient workflow
Ability to communicate effectively with both technical and non-technical audiences
Any other experience with web-related technologies
