Direct Hire opportunity located in Canonsburg, PA
The Sales Operations Specialist will work with the Vice President of Sales to ensure that the sales organization runs effectively and efficiently.
The candidate will support the business strategies and objectives of the sales organization, including but not limited to assisting with administration of the CRM system, forecasting, process improvements, sales reporting and data analysis.
S/He will collaborate with Finance, IT/IS, Operations, and Marketing to achieve organization goals.
Administer the company’s CRM system
Analyze data from sales reports, and the CRM system, to determine KPIs
Assist with sales forecasting by utilizing the CRM system and other available data
Gather information from the sales team and independent representatives to assist in forecasting
Recommend new sales reports, as needed, to improve the effectiveness of data for the sales team
Create executive level reports to support strategic sales direction, or to support proposed changes to sales direction
Assist in automating processes, such as expense reporting and sales credit split requests
Lead process improvement discussions to uncover operational inefficiencies and recommend changes
Facilitates an organization of continuous process improvement
Participate in sales meetings
Represent the Sales Organization in cross-departmental meetings or projects
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
Attention to detail and exceptional organization and follow up skills
Ability to design, lead and execute analysis and effectively communicate insights
Strong problem-solving skills
Ability to work independently while still maintaining strong ties throughout organization
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Proficient computer skills, including Microsoft Office Suite (strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel), and the ability to learn Company’s CRM and ERP systems
Ability to travel occasionally as needed
Bachelor’s degree in a business-related function
Minimum of 5 years of business experience
Prior experience with CRM systems, Salesforce.com preferred
2+ years in a sales support role
Experience preferred in a manufacturing, B2B environment
