The Computer Science Department is seeking a Cloud Education Research Programmer to work on an exciting new opportunity. The candidate will be working with Prof. Majd Sakr, who with his team developed a project-based online Cloud Computing course. This position involves being responsible for developing new projects using the Google Cloud Platform (GCP). The candidate will also be responsible for designing, maintaining, enhancing, testing and debugging a web-based application that is used to administer the projects for the online Cloud Computing course. The online course gives students an overview of the field of Cloud Computing, main building blocks, virtualization, storage programming frameworks and hands-on experience through projects utilizing public cloud infrastructures (Amazon Web Services (AWS), Microsoft Azure and Google Cloud Platform). This is an excellent opportunity for someone to gain or enhance his or her expertise in the Cloud Computing domain.
