threeRivers 3D is looking for an Electromechanical Assembly Technician to join our team.
Founded in 2007, 3R3D is an energetic, fast-paced Pittsburgh-based company that develops and manufactures sophisticated 3D scanners used for medical analysis, reverse engineering and 3D modeling. We were recently recognized by the Pittsburgh Business Times as the Manufacturer of the Year.
You will be responsible for the complete assembly, test, packaging and shipping of our products. This job requires semi-precision assembly of small mechanical, electrical and optical parts. Strong work ethic, attention to detail, strong mechanical aptitude, willingness to learn, and ability to work independently are key requirements.

If you were working for us, here are some things that you would have done last week:
Assemble small mechanical sub-assemblies into larger device;
Route pre-built cables / wiring;
Transferred and loading assemblies into automated test stations;
Ran automated test devices;
Assembled device into final enclosure;
Performed final system check / inspection;
Received and logged raw inventory, work-in-process and finished goods.
Packaged for shipping;
Provided feedback to engineering on ways to better, more efficiently build product;
Worked with R&D group to ensure new designs are being designed for manufacturability;
Perform incoming QC on all parts and taken corrective action as needed;
Shipped a whole lot of product;
Gotten your hands dirty, figuratively and literally;
Had the satisfaction of knowing that you are contributing to the re-growth of the manufacturing economy in PA.
This position will require the use of both hand and light power tools on a regular basis. Experience in a precision production environment is preferred, but not required. We are willing and able to train the right person.
