Applications Analyst with DMS (Document Management System)

Application of system analysis techniques and procedures, including consulting with users, to determine hardware, software or system functional specifications as it pertains to (but not limited to) the following:
Work closely with support teams, infrastructure engineers, and owners of applications to maintain an IT service portfolio which meets functionality, availability, and capacity demands of the business.
Heavy focus on Continual Service Improvement initiatives as they pertain directly and to existing and potential integrations with other systems to ensure continued delivery of value-added service(s) to the Firm.
Serve as point of contact for vendor interaction for support, maintenance, and consulting needs.
Assist level 1 support personnel in troubleshooting and support as required, accepting escalation from level 1 support personnel and engaging application vendors for advanced support as needed.
Lead all phases of application implementation and upgrades from evaluation to post-rollout support, including development and maintenance of implementation, training, and support documentation.
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field or equivalent work experience.
Related certifications are a plus.
Five or more years of Application Support/Analyst experience
Strong analytical thinking skills.
Proficiency with Microsoft Office 2010 suite (including Visio and Project).
Proficiency with Windows 7 and Windows Server operating systems.
Experience working with vendor APIs (Application Programming Interface).
