Essential Duties and Responsibilities: • Serve as subject matter expert for multiple core and section-specific applications, with primary responsibility being administration, maintenance, and support of the DMS environment. • Application of system analysis techniques and procedures, including consulting with users, to determine hardware, software or system functional specifications as it pertains to (but not limited to) the following: o Enterprise Document Management (e.g. NetDocuments, OpenText eDOCS DM, etc.) o Electronic Email Filing • Work closely with support teams, infrastructure engineers, and owners of DMS-integrated applications to maintain an IT service portfolio which meets functionality, availability, and capacity demands of the business. • Heavy focus on Continual Service Improvement initiatives as they pertain to the DMS directly and to existing and potential integrations with other systems to ensure continued delivery of value-added service(s) to the Firm. • Serve as point of contact for DMS vendor interaction for support, maintenance, and consulting needs. • Assist level 1 support personnel in troubleshooting and support as required, accepting escalation from level 1 support personnel and engaging application vendors for advanced support as needed. • Lead all phases of application implementation and upgrades from evaluation to post-rollout support, including development and maintenance of implementation, training, and support documentation. • Travel to other offices for support and project work as required.
Qualifications and Experience: · Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field or equivalent work experience. · Related certifications are a plus. · Five or more years of Application Support/Analyst experience, preferred. · Strong analytical thinking skills. · Previous law firm experience, preferred. · Proficiency with Microsoft Office 2010 suite (including Visio and Project). · Proficiency with Windows 7 and Windows Server operating systems. · Experience working with vendor APIs (Application Programming Interface). · Ability to carry out daily maintenance, project, and support duties with minimal supervision. · Flexibility to work after hours and on weekends as required. · Ability to travel occasionally for rollout and training for new applications. - up to 25% to other offices
