Reporting directly to the COO of Lucas Systems, and as a dedicated member of a Fortune 50 account team, this position works closely with the Lucas Account Executive to understand the technology business goals and objectives of the partnership, while serving as an extension of the account’s Customer & Logistics Services Group.
The Senior Manager holds a highly visible key leadership role within a major account, contributing to the overall strategic direction, business development, collaboration, performance improvement, satisfaction target achievement, and successful business operations.
Based on an agreed upon technology business plan, the purpose of this role is to ensure achievement of business and project objectives, for both the account and Lucas, while realizing a great team experience and excellence in service delivery.
Understanding and executing the Customer & Logistics Services technology business plan while serving as the cornerstone to ensure Lucas project and service delivery excellence.
Working with the Lucas Account Executive and delivery organization as a primary point of contact for client needs, requirements and expectations with regard to assigned Lucas delivery team operations.
Providing leadership to the service delivery team responsible for implementing resulting solutions to meet contract deliverables.
Managing the day-to-day service delivery operations and acting as the interface between the Lucas service delivery team and the account’s Customer & Logistics Services Group.
Managing cost, schedule, and service deliverables specific to the Lucas Solution and related services.
Ensuring effective use of Lucas project resources, and facilitating the successful transition to Lucas’ Software Services group post project implementation.
Achieving agreed upon account satisfaction targets; participating in the account satisfaction process to drive improvements in service quality.
Developing and driving service improvements based on trends and client inputs.
Fulfilling process requirements and avoiding unauthorized change execution, and managing account compliance.
Ensuring day-to-day service operations communications are delivered to the client.
Developing and presenting client reports as requested.
Supporting the Lucas Account Executive in the management of contract changes and service related issues.
Leading business/project team meetings, as appropriate.
Providing and managing continuous improvement of all services provided, and identifying alternatives/options to these services.
Education and Experience:
Bachelor’s Degree in related discipline
Must be willing and able to travel up to 60% (in-person/on-site collaboration)
5+ years of demonstrated IT Service Delivery Management experience, including at least 2 years working in a similar senior level position on a major account
Proven ability to strategically balance customer and solution provider goals
Strong business acumen, evidenced by business planning, budgeting and cost management experience
Proven leadership skills
Preference for prior management consulting experience
Prior experience in Supply Chain/Distribution also preferred
