This is a contract role for a young, bright Developer who needs to cut his teeth with maintenance coding in ASP.NET and C#.
Responsible for the operational duties involved in restoring IT Services during Incidents and identifying the underlying root cause of their problems. This includes the developing and maintaining applications that will prevent Incidents from happening, or reduce the impact of the business for recurring Incidents.
Key Job Elements
Provide second level application incident support for Tier 1 Business critical applications
Performing investigation and diagnosis of Incidents / Problems.
Ability to troubleshoot Incident/ Problems to determine root cause and any fixes that would prevent the Incident from re-occurring.
Design, develop and code various solutions for Incident / Problem solution and ensure projects are implemented on schedule.
Responsible for ensuring solutions are applied appropriately to resolve Incident / Problems and safeguards to ensure the solution does not cause further difficulties
Serve as liaison between the business units and IT for Operations Support
Maintain existing web applications on various sites and update content as required on the sites through administration tools
Maintain a thorough understanding of the most current industry technology, tools and trends to implement improvements and ensure the currency of the Company's use of web technology.
Monitor application performance to identify and modify areas that require improvement.
Design, analyze and implement change requests to ensure that the needs of the clients are implemented on schedule.

A Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, MIS or related field.
Minimum 1 years experience required.
Experience with PC and Mac platforms.
An understanding of how content managers and administrative tools operate with web site maintenance.
Knowledge of SQL, IIS, and bug tracking tools are a plus.
Excellent communication skills, including experience in preparing written and oral reports.
Strong interpersonal skills with supervisor and staff populations.
Superior organization, prioritization, and self-motivation skills.
Strong Data analysis and report creation in SSRS and Excel
Strong Analytical skills with the ability to preform root cause analysis of problem.
Solid programming skills in tools such as MVC 3, C#, ASP.NET, and SQL 2005 or greater.
