We are seeking qualified candidates to fill a Help Desk Specialist Position located at Heritage Valley Health System in Aliquippa, PA 15001. This a full-time and benefited position with health, dental, vision and 401K.
The Help Desk Specialist provides Information Systems first and second level support to customers across the enterprise for all desktop, laptop, tablet, server, applications, and other hardware. User problems are simulated or recreated to resolve operating difficulties and system changes are recommended as necessary to reduce user problems.Interaction with other services such as networking, interfaces, application development, etc. is required as necessary to identify and correct problems and restore user functionality. The Help desk Specialist is responsible for maintaining system documentation, monitoring critical functions, operations, installation, and maintenance.
Associate Degree in Computer Science or Information Systems or comparable certificate from a technical school.
1-2 years’ experience supporting Microsoft Windows applications and operating systems.
Valid driver’s license and use of an automobile.
In-depth PC experience.
Understanding of networks, interfaces, and client-server relationships and processes
