SUMMARY We are working with a manufacturer of highly customized specialty products to identify a Facilities Manager. Known for high volume and quick turnaround, our confidential client produces and ships product to over 100 countries across the globe. Located in the greater Pittsburgh area, this company offers a highly dynamic environment, emerging culture, and a competitive salary and benefits package.
The Facilities Manager is responsible for over site and management of the Facilities and Maintenance departments, as well as the direct management of all EHS programs and initiatives. This role requires a tenured professional with a proven track record of managing and maintaining complex and diverse production equipment within a large, multi-building facility. The ideal candidate will have experience creating, launching, and maintaining a full-scale EHS program.

Bachelor’s degree required; Industrial or Manufacturing degrees desirable, EHS or similar degrees are highly preferred.
Ten years of experience managing facilities and maintenance operations required.
Seven years of related EHS experience in complex and/or regulated manufacturing environment required.
Must be able to pass a pre-employment criminal background check and drug screen.
ADDITIONAL SKILLS DESIRED
Demonstrated expertise in planning, budgeting, and project management of capital improvement projects.
Demonstrated expertise in leading multiple complex projects and/or launching new processes, programs, and initiatives.
Demonstrated ability to conduct and support EHS audits and provide training necessary to maintain regulatory compliance.
Thorough knowledge of compliance requirements for regulatory bodies such as FDA, OSHA, NIOSH, and EPA, etc.
Previous experience managing and implementing an ISO 14001 program.
Proven leadership and managerial skills demonstrated by developing, training, and coaching teams in an organizational setting.
Demonstrated ability to influence and the ability to work with all levels of the organization.
