We are currently working with a manufacturer in Southern Butler County to identify an HR Generalist. This is a permanent opportunity offering a competitive base compensation, benefits, and will part of a corporate bonus program.
The HR Generalist will be part of an established corporate HR team and act as a true generalist across all HR functional areas. This generalist will have a specialty focus in working with the management and employees on the manufacturing end of the operation, while their counterpart will focus in working with the corporate functional areas of the operation. We are looking for a very consultative individual who has strong listening skills and truly wants to be an HR partner that will help achieve department and employee goals.
This person will also have the opportunity to be involved in learning and helping others learn to use a new HRIS, Oracle Fusion, which the company is in the midst of implementing.
Requirements: • Bachelor’s degree preferred. A combination of experience and education will be considered. • Manufacturing experience preferred. • Must have 5+ years of HR generalist experience. • Strong employee relations experience. • A consultative nature and strong listening skills are key to being successful in working as a team with department managers and employees. • Strong MS Office. • HRIS experience helpful; training will be provided on new system regardless of prior experience.
• Must be able to pass a pre-employment criminal background check and drug screen.
