Bachelor degree in Journalism, Communications, Marketing, or related field preferred
Minimum two years of Federated or financial institution experience preferred
Financial writing experience preferred
Minimum one year project management experience preferred
DST/AWD workstation knowledge preferred
Proficiency in MSWord; keyboarding skills required.
Translate operational concepts, legal processing requirements and industry language into explanations understandable by intermediaries and investors in written communications, as applicable.
Compose professional, quality communications to clients, shareholders, and prospective investors, maintaining department and corporate standards and style guidelines.
Coordinate AWD workflow within the department and adhere to all department AWD processing standards.
Adhere to all current department policies and procedures, as well as all department quality and turnaround standards.
Review letters and communications written by co-workers to ensure consistency of message, style, format, tone and quality in communications; provide instructions, suggestions, and recommendations as needed.
Work with business unit personnel in Client Contact Center and Relationship Management to research and analyze internal operational and technical problems, account errors, and account questions to provide investors with accurate and comprehensive explanations.
Work with appropriate departments to compile required facts to explain changes in the market/industry that impact performance of Federated Funds.
Actively participate in team and project meeting discussions and brainstorming sessions.
Manage the EnCorr letter library; review and update standard letters annually; create new letters, revise, collapse, or delete existing letters, as needed. Schedule review/updates and maintain a log of new/revised information.
Maintain EnCorr storage methods for standard letters and required language; create and implement letter types to facilitate ease of use.
Manage all service forms and applications; work with all service areas to ensure suitability of forms for related end users and publish forms on the Federated external website via the TeamSite application.
Design new operational forms and update existing forms as required or requested via the ArcProspectus System.
Make forms interactive using the Adobe application.
Manage SharePoint Contact Us and respond to or coordinate dissemination of emails received via the external Federated website; monitor standard email response processing adherence by Client Services.
Collaborate with the service teams to determine timely and appropriate content for the Client Services pages of the Federated website; craft verbiage, secure appropriate review and approvals and work with E-Marketing to post various messages to the website; enter applicable messages on the Customer Service website via the TeamSite application.
Manage special and recurring writing projects such as welcome kits for new clients, department newsletters, and Investor statement messages and inserts.
Participate on departmental and enterprise wide project teams, working with Business Integration Services, Client Contact Center, Relationship Management, and Product Management to develop a clear understanding of the subject matter intended for communication; fulfill the need for service related written communications.
Develop relationships with other Federated departments (Marketing Communications. E-Marketing, Compliance, Publishing & Literature Fulfillment Services) and vendors to effectively coordinate the completion of projects and assignments.
