However, you will be busy. From Day 1, you will be involved in defining, developing and implementing technology-driven assessment solutions. You will be expected to learn things quickly, contribute ideas, take on a lot of responsibility, and attend to details for a variety of tasks and meet scheduled milestones for each.
Gathering and assessing business goals, market research, customer feedback, and other inputs to formulate product features, functions and requirements which offer competitive advantage.
Owning and creating the product strategy and roadmap.
Continuously prioritizing incoming business and customer requests to plan the product releases most valuable to the organization.
Developing conceptual modeling and process workflows to illustrate current and future states.
Creating, maintaining and prioritizing the product backlog and leading grooming efforts.
Working in partnership with the Scrum Master to ensure items are worked on in accordance with the product backlog and serving as the primary point of contact for questions from the Development team.
Working in partnership with the Technical Owner(s) to ensure the design and delivery of a cohesive system.
Accepting delivery of working product from the Scrum Team. Socializing the delivery of business value and outcomes of the iteration to various stakeholders.
Creating, documenting, and revising functional specifications and user stories, as necessary, throughout the development lifecycle.
Creating user interface mockups and associated behavioral rules to define navigation, validation, data relationships and trigger events.
Conducting analytical review meetings as required with domain experts to acquire the details needed to write functional specifications.
Acting as main point of contact for new third party integrations. This includes developing requirements to meet client needs, assisting with the creation of schedules with key milestones, and effectively facilitating and holding project status meetings with partners and clients.
Regularly interfacing with Consulting, R&D, clients, and partners.
BS in Computer Science or other technical discipline, or the equivalent in work experience.
Familiar with Scrum framework and Product Owner role.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills and the ability to interact professionally with a diverse group, executives, managers, and subject matter experts.
Proven experience in the areas of software development, technical or IT project management, and technical business analysis with a thorough understanding of the SDLC.
Demonstrable proficiency in product specifications and product leadership.
Strong analytical and customer relationship skills required, including a thorough understanding of how to interpret customer business needs and translate them into application and operational requirements.
Ability to work unsupervised with extensive latitude for independent action and be comfortable making decisions on limited information.
Experience in business analysis or technical writing.
High initiative and self-motivated to exceed expectations.
Ability to drive/influence multiple stakeholders on simultaneous projects without necessarily having direct authority.
Experience working with web-based applications and products.
