The IT Asset and Procurement Manager administers the IT purchase and inventory system and management system. Updates and administers asset databases, tracking life cycle of all assets. Receives and manages inventory, ensures security of assets while in inventory. Maintains and manages supplier records, service level agreements, software license information and updates, and assists in developing enterprise wide IT purchasing standards and procedures. Receives new equipment/software requests and monitors procurement and deployment activities. Verifies financial data (e.g., leased, depreciated or expensed), and monitors and reconciles changes in inventory and performs spot checks to ensure process and system quality, and ensures compliance with vendor contracts. The individual will assist in forming procurement strategies to optimize technology spend across the organization.
Associates or Bachelor’ Degree in Business Administration, Finance, Accounting, or other related field; or equivalent work experience
2 to 5 years of experience in asset management, database management, procurement, finance or related experience
Strong quantitative, analytical, problem solving skills, including the ability to accumulate, organize, and assimilate large amounts of information
Knowledge of Software Asset Management principals/practices
Contract negotiation skills, experience interpreting licensing terms and conditions is preferred
Demonstrates experience in creating documents and reports using MS Office products such as: MS Word, Excel and Project
Excellent communication and time management skills is required
Child Abuse Clearance; Pennsylvania State Police Criminal Record Check and Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI) Clearance required.
