POSITION TITLE: CLIENT CONTRACTS ADMINISTRATOR – Part-Time
DEPARTMENT: LEGAL ADMINISTRATION
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience required
Prior relevant legal, administrative, or client service experience preferred
Knowledge of financial industry, mutual funds, and/or Federated client base preferred
Broad knowledge of Federated funds and share classes and basic understanding of client fees and contractual responsibilities preferred
Proficiency in MS Office required; experience with SharePoint preferred
Understanding of basic business process of all departments involved in executing contracts preferred
Supports the onboarding of new clients by facilitating the contract process.
Collaborates with members of various departments to review and implement the terms of all standard and non-standard agreements for the Cash Management, Bank, Retirement, Insurance, Broker/Dealer, Investment Advisor, Financial Planners, and International markets.
Verifies that contract language is consistent with Board approved terms and conditions, operational issues are reflective of policies & procedures of service units and Compliance, and that requested fees have been reviewed and approved by Decision Support and Intermediary Compensation.
Validates that contracts receive the appropriate authorization, review, and signatures of senior executives before issuance.
Ensures agreements are reviewed and executed expeditiously.
Evaluates proposed changes to standard contract language to determine affected departments within Federated and works with those departments to ensure custom contract terms are supportable and within guidelines.
Participates in and sometimes leads cross-departmental projects.
Responds to inquiries from clients, service teams, auditors, regulators and any other parties requesting information about or copies of client contracts.
Tracks and reports status of proposed agreements at all points through the execution process using internal system.
Assists with maintenance and enhancement of contract tracking and storage system.
Creates, maintain, and update workflow documents to reflect current processes.
Recommends changes to workflows to reflect new contract types or modifications to standard procedures.
Ensures workflows have adequate controls to guarantee clients receive correct documents and all related parties are able to perform their required processes.
Interacts with clients to ensure / facilitate execution of contract, providing assistance as needed.
25 hours per week (hours worked during standard work week M-F 8:30 a.m. - 5:00 p.m.)
