The Account Manager is responsible for health and growth of strategic customer accounts.
Key Functions and Responsibilities:
Establish strategic relationships with client senior management team and partner with SCA’s Supply Chain and Solution Consultants to ensure delivery of services to scope and budgets; address critical issues, establish governance practices and on-going cadence (e.g. Steering Committee meetings).
Act as the liaison between the customer and the cross-functional internal teams to improve the entire customer experience.
Develop Account plans outlining detailed client requirements, ROI targets and results, and develop strategies up-sell opportunities in line with growth strategy.
Responsible to identify and budget for all client initiatives for SCA and client to pursue through the year. Lead efforts to establish scope, define benefits/value ROI case, and project approach. Responsible for sales cycle to upsell these opportunities.
Actively advocate for the client while understanding and balancing the objectives and needs of SCA.
Collaborate with sales and marketing team on plans for new types of solutions and services that would benefit the client base and would serve as a new revenue stream for SCA.
Successfully transition account ownership from sales stage to account management stage for newly on-boarded clients.
Own the execution of operational SLA delivery and escalations.
Clearly communicate and report the progress of initiatives to internal and external stakeholders.
Our clients are large food-service companies; experience with software implementation or enterprise technology innovation is a must, food company service is preferred
Business or technology consulting services experience is strongly preferred
Demonstrated success growing major accounts involving complex software and solution sales
Experience and familiarity with key financial statements and how they’re used to measure a company’s or department’s performance
The ability to solve complex problems in a customer-facing role
Impeccable, genuine, and credible written and verbal communication
