iCarnegie, Inc.

iCarnegie, Inc., is an educational affiliate of Carnegie Mellon University whose mission is to provide large-scale access by students worldwide to the university's technology expertise, especially in software development. Spun off from the university after a period of incubation as Carnegie Technology Education, iCarnegie develops Web-based courses and delivers them through a unique partnership model.

iCarnegie provides curriculum, Web and faculty development services to education providers such as colleges, universities, employers, corporate and commercial trainers. Their students receive a blended offering combining iCarnegie's 7x24 Web courses with face-to-face instruction. This model has reached thousands of students around the globe, bridging gaps of language and culture to deliver deep technical skills. iCarnegie also provides students with the opportunity to document their skills by earning iCarnegie certificates through high achievement on rigorous performance-based exams.
