Job Overview
Position Summary
Responsible for the requisitioning of purchased and/or leased PC laptops / workstations / thin client workstations and ancillary components for CNX Center. Coordinate and organize the delivery of all new and replacement PC’s for timely distribution to the end user at CNX Center. Work with the user community to understand their PC needs and provide solutions. Remove data from returned PC’s and dispose of them per the Consol Energy Policy. Coordinate with the vendor and SCM to provide input for refining the PC tracking, acquisition, and disposal business process.
Target Position Responsibilities
Hardware Procurement:
Purchase and receive all hardware required to enable the CNX Center user community to be efficient & productive.
End User Support:
Field user inquiries for additional hardware and hardware outside the Consol standard. All requests must be researched thoroughly to provide individual and group recommendations with cost effective results.
Vendor Liaison:
Maintain a professional relationship with vendors. Communicate CONSOL Energy hardware standards, scheduling and delivery deadlines.
Deployment Activities:
Communicate with Desktop Support and end users the ETA incoming hardware in order to address issues related to distribution and installation. Assemble, transfer data, and distribute the hardware to users within CNX Center.
Disposal Activities:
Work with vendor to dispose of equipment or return leased equipment. This will vary based on Consol PC Disposal Policy.
Minimum Requirements
Bachelor’s Degree with strong emphasis in Information Science and Communications preferred.
Must possess 2 –3 years related experience.
Must possess effective written and verbal communication skills.
