Job Overview
e-Staff Consulting has 2 contract opportunities for QA Testers.
Testing Engineers are responsible for the Quality of new products developed by R&D. They are also responsible for qualifying defects on existing products and establishing one or all of the following: clear definition of the issue, troubleshooting plan, work around or permanent solution and reporting the issue for corrections in future releases.
Duties
· Design, develop, and execute test plans and test cases, including creating test Data (manual, automated)
· Document and track product deficiencies; verify resolution
· Update test plans, cases, data, scripts for features included in prior releases (manual, automated)
· Works under general supervision and function as a team lead
· Support other departments
· Other duties as assigned
Required: Bachelors degree preferred in Computer Science or other technical discipline 2-4 years of experience in the field or in a related area
Certifications: ISTQB Certified or other QA/Test Engineering certification, familiarity with software testing standards, concepts, practices, and procedures
Technical Skills:
· Windows XP/2000, MS Office Suite, MS Project, PVCS Tracker and Version Manager, Microsoft Visual Studio C++,
· Some familiarity with automated testing tools such as Mercury WinRunner and Compuware QACenter is a plus OTHER
