Federated Hermes is seeking an Advertising Review Specialist to join our Compliance team and play a critical role in ensuring that all marketing and advertising materials meet SEC and FINRA regulatory requirements. In this role, you will review a wide variety of communications—including print and digital advertisements, presentations, websites, and sales literature—to ensure accuracy, transparency, and compliance. You will also coordinate FINRA filings, draft disclosure language where appropriate, and collaborate with internal stakeholders and regulatory reviewers to resolve questions and maintain alignment with evolving industry standards.
Success in this position requires strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills, along with a high level of attention to detail. The ideal candidate is comfortable managing multiple priorities, partnering across marketing, legal, and compliance teams, and proactively identifying and addressing regulatory concerns. This role is well suited for someone who values precision, demonstrates sound judgment, and is interested in developing deep expertise in investment advertising regulations while contributing to a collaborative, high-performing environment.

Specifications include:
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience required
Compliance or legal experience/certification preferred
Minimum 1 year business experience required; experience in financial services preferred
Basic understanding of mutual funds and other investment products preferred
Proficiency in Microsoft Office required
FINRA Series 7 license or willingness to obtain preferred
