The Sr. SAP Analyst – LES serves as the SAP technical and functional support for the business for Logistics processes. The selected individual will work with the Business Process Owners (BPOs) to collect, understand, and analyze business demands in a systematic and proactive way. The Analyst is responsible for technical and process support for SAP (ECC 6.0) projects, change requests, or issues particularly in the Logistics, TMS, IM and WM modules. This position reports directly to the IT Manager and will be part of the IT team.
Create project deliverables including conceptual designs, functional and technical specifications, system configuration, and documentation for reports, interfaces, conversions, enhancements, forms and workflow as they relate to SAP’s Logistics Execution, TMS, IM and WM modules
Work with other cross functional teams during development and configuration activities to ensure impacts on LES areas are evaluated and implemented while following SAP best practices.
Act as an IT liaison with BPOs and Application Management Support (AMS) 3rd party to support continuous improvement initiatives.
Assist in the design and execution of test plans to ensure that business requirements and functional specifications are implemented properly, and meets business objectives.
Assist the BPOs and offshore technical team to resolve tickets in a timely and efficient manner.
Act as functional/technical project lead related to mergers, acquisitions, or carve-out activities.
Minimum of 5 years functional configuration experience as an SAP Analyst including the following areas: Logistics and Execution, Inventory Management, Warehouse Management and Transportation Management processes.
Bachelor's Degree required (Supply Chain Management, Information Science, Computer Science, or related discipline preferred)
Excellent communication skills, written and verbal
Experience implementing and deploying SAP across US and globally.
Demonstrated skills and expertise in SAP solution design and system configuration
Experience with software development lifecycles (SDLC) and industry best practices
Up to 25% Travel may be required
SAP certification in Logistics Execution / IM / WM / TMS or other modules
Experience in Service and light manufacturing industries
