The Project Manager role demands a strong candidate with a proven track record of managing both large and small practice management and EMR software application implementations. Project Managers are expected to deliver the highest level of performance and satisfaction for our customers and employees. Individuals in this role serve as a key liaison between the project team, the customer project team, company resources, executives and other departmental leaders to facilitate project planning, prioritization and collaboration.
Management, communication, coordination, and accountability for the entire life cycle of the implementation for assigned client projects
Develop project plans, manage issues and risks, drive issue resolution, direct resources to accomplish project tasks, and maintain control over projects
Create scope documents based on project plans and departmental policies and procedures
Create detailed work breakdown structures for successful implementation strategies
Track key milestones and adjust project plans, requests and/or resources to ensure projects are delivered on time, on budge and the client is satisfied
Manage both internal and external resources to ensure project success
Managing of multiple projects concurrently under high stress situations
Communicate status of projects, including project risks, to stakeholders and management
Assist with end user training, Go Lives, and associated documentation when needed
Independently carrying out other assignments, as directed, to support the overall goals of the implementation group and department.
Developing strong partnerships and collaborative relationships with the client.
Supports end users at customer sites, providing phone and shoulder to shoulder assistance during work hours. These hours may also include weekends and occasional evenings.
Work with implementation team members and other departments to identify customer needs
Flexes quickly to changes in priorities, deliverables, and projects. Able to quickly learn new applications/modifications and communicate the changes to others in the team as well as end users.
Travel to remote offices or client sites as needed

Qualifications & Requirements
Bachelor's Degree with a training, education, clinical and/or technical preferred (combination of relevant education and experience may be substituted in lieu of degree)
PMP certification preferred
2-5 years’ project management; preferred for the healthcare setting
Experience with GE Centricity (CPS or C-EMR) products preferred
Dynamic interpersonal skills to interact with hospital staff, physicians, and community representatives
Strong consulting, systems implementation, process improvement, support, and training
Understands information technology concepts and processes
Demonstrates aptitude for effective leadership of staff
At least 2 years' experience and expertise with Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, PowerPoint, Word, Excel)
Working knowledge of healthcare electronic medical record systems
Working knowledge of healthcare practice management systems
Possible travel, up to 50%, with occasional weekend travel
