SUMMARY Specialty manufacturing company located in Evans City requires a full time Administrative Assistant. Weekly work schedule Monday – Friday 7:30 am - 4:30 pm.
POSITION Responsibilities include: • Answering and screening calls. Greeting visitors and deliveries. • Assisting customers with questions regarding orders, pricing and delivery. Directing complicated questions to the sales department. • Posting information online. • Entry of daily production information, customer orders, and quotes. • Scheduling OTR shipments: getting freight rates, emailing shipping papers, printing shipping labels, etc. • Send small packages and documents via FedEx and UPS. • Assist with filing. • Daily reporting.
REQUIREMENTS • Two years of office support experience with a manufacturer. • Solid computer skills (i.e. Word, Excel, Outlook). • Experience with LTL or truckload shipping required. • Experience answering phones: well spoken, professional, and personable phone skills. • Must be able to pass a pre-employment criminal background check and drug screen.
