EDI System Administrator Job Duties: • Responsible for maintaining and troubleshooting issues with in the Seeburger platform.
This includes but is not limited to: • Investigation and correction of failed communications and transactions • Configuration and set up of new connections and transactions. • Data mapping • Ability to understand and define business needs; Must have excellent written and oral communication skills and be able to convey criticality effectively to management. • Establish and maintain positive relationships with customers, internal business units and various IT organizations; Must keep responsible organizations engaged in resolving issues • Define and request system or procedure changes by analyzing operating practices; Evaluate opportunities for automation. • Responsible for overseeing the coordination for resolution of Incidents; Responsible for documenting root cause; Determine trends in incidents and help to define steps necessary to reduce repeat incidents. • Provide information by answering questions and requests. • Maintain continuity of work operations by documenting and communicating needed actions to management; discovering irregularities; determining continuing needs. • Create effective communications to convey messages about planned/unplanned outages, customer related issues and any notifications related to the organization. • Accomplishes department and organization mission by completing related results as needed.
Requirements: • 5 years Server administration Experience • Configuration of server based software • Unix/Linux Experience • General understanding of relational databases and SQL • Knowledge of various communication protocols including but not limited to SFTP, Https, TLS • Understanding of security protocols • Scripting and/or programming experience • Proficient in MS Office • Experience working with a diverse range of trading partners • Ability to work with diverse and multi-disciplinary teams • Excellent time-management and organizational skills • Outstanding verbal and written communication skills • Detail-oriented and efficient • Bachelor's degree
