Administration & Customer Service, Education & Training
As an Account Manager, you will be the single point of contact for various interactions with public school administrators who work for districts belonging to our network. You will also be responsible for retention of our existing school district relationships which will be maintained through careful, accurate and consistent communications with district decision-makers. Furthermore, you will consult with these decision-makers to identify opportunities for growth and new online learning solutions within the school districts.
Additionally, Account Managers help districts recruit students into their programs by facilitating targeted campaigns and delivering presentations to parents and potential students. Accounts are nurtured and grown through close support, attention to client expectations and capitalizing on growth opportunities.
Essential to this role are project management, organization, coordination and communication skills as they relate to clients and internal stakeholders, consulting expertise, problem solving, quick thinking and a customer-centric perspective.
The successful candidate will also be responsible for conducting periodic training seminars, as necessary. Flexibility and an ability to learn quickly and teach others are essential. Travel to school district clients mainly in Pennsylvania, Ohio and other states is required. Account Managers also support our Sales team by assisting in demonstrations, presentations and representing the company at industry trade shows. Overnight travel is expected.
This work will be performed on-site at VLN Partners’ offices in Pittsburgh, PA and will take place in an energetic work environment of consultants, teachers, course developers and technicians collaborating efficiently to create quality online programs for their cyber school students and other students in various school district programs.

Education &/or Experience
Bachelor’s Degree with 5-7 years of experience. Advanced degree in public administration, education, or MBA preferred
Experience with a large consulting firm, educational service company or public schools is a plus
Pennsylvania Teaching Certificate preferred but not required
Project Management certification preferred, but not required
Computer literate with skills in Microsoft Office, Google Drive, and online technologies
Experience with Adobe Creative Suite preferred, but not required
Excellent organizational, time management, communication, customer support and project management skills
Experience analyzing data
Able to work and think independently within a framework of best practices and common goals is essential
