SUMMARY Industrial equipment manufacturer requires Customer Service Assistant for the Zelienople customer service and sales department. This person will be the first point of contact for customers via phone and email. Weekly work schedule of Monday - Friday 8:00 am – 5:00 pm. Pay rate in the $15.00 - $17.00 an hour range. POSITION Responsibilities include: • Taking incoming calls from customers. • Receiving job orders, following up on missing details with the customer, and entering the job order into the computer system. Uploading customer documents and drawings. • Work with the customer to schedule the pickup of equipment for repair, schedule the work and the delivery of the equipment. • Get pricing estimates, advice customers and upload quotes to the computer. • Create packets of work instructions for the shop floor. • Supporting marketing activities: update trade show materials and order promotional items; update information on the website and develop customer literature. Do mass mailings to customers. • Filing and reporting.
REQUIREMENTS • This is an entry level position: we are looking for someone who is customer oriented, smart and enthusiastic, that we can train and grow. 3 – 5 years of customer service experience is appropriate. • Good phone skills. • Needs to have strong Excel, Word and Outlook skills. • Good data entry skills in accuracy and quickness. • Strong attention to detail. • Good verbal and written communication skills. • Must be able to pass a pre-employment criminal background check and drug screen.
