SUMMARY A National Distribution Company requires a Human Resources Assistant for the Saxonburg headquarters. Schedule is Monday - Friday 8:00 am - 4:30 pm. Pays $17.00 an hour, with benefits package. Direct hire position.
POSITION Responsibilities include: • Administer health insurance, paid time off benefits, leave of absences, and accommodations processes. • Process employee and customer accidents, and any leaves of absence. • Process garnishments, court orders, qualified child support, unemployment cases, and other legal duties as required by the state and federal government. • Generate reports as required to provide information for management decision making. • Communicate relevant information with peers and leadership allowing them to fulfill their duties. • Communicate with internal and external partners, attorneys, insurance companies, and government agencies as necessary. • Maintain confidentiality and privacy of employee and company sensitive data. • Perform general office support and administrative assistance as required. • Provide any other administrative support deemed necessary by the divisional directors.
REQUIREMENTS • This person needs to be familiar with HR benefits (from school or work experience). • Strong Excel, Outlook, and Word skills required. • Must have professional demeanor and excellent communication skills. • Must be self-disciplined and able to work autonomously. • Must be able to pass a pre-employment background check and drug screen.
