Job Overview: The primary function of this position is to install and maintain CA-Integrated Data Management System (IDMS) and supporting software, to assist staff members with other departmental tasks.
Qualifications: * Associates Degree Information Technology or related filed required. * Minimum of five years’ experience in systems programming, installation and maintenance of software. * Strong Knowledge and Working Experience of IBM JCL & Utilities including SMP/E. * Experience with CICS, preferred. * Requires sharing on-call responsibilities 24x7x365 and occasionally requires work during off-hours, weekends and/or holidays. * Ability to work independently or as a team member on projects. * Excellent verbal and written communication skills. * Ability to travel for work related educational training. * Experience with prob lem resolution and working in team oriented environment.
Principal Activities and Duties: * Install, maintain and support releases of CA-IDMS software and subsystem products. * Install and support IDMS performance monitor. * Perform SMP/E and non SMP/E installations. * Installations and support of third party products. * Execution of problem determination for production or testing issues. * Interface with I/T & end-user Departments providing technical support and problem resolution. * Interface with the Information Security Department supporting security related items. * Performance monitoring and tuning of related system environments. * Document integration and implementation of required technical processes. * Ability to mentor and train team members. * Participate in the annual Disaster Recovery Testing including documenting proced ures & issues.
