The IT Support Specialist II supports and trains employees to efficiently use technology and communications tools. This person will resolve Helpdesk issues and triage issues to other Analysts as required. Maintain PC’s, printers, copiers and other peripheral endpoint devices. They will assist manager to review and analyze system expenses to identify value opportunities.
Key Job Elements:
Hands-on IT User support including PC and applications.
Proactive review of systems to mitigate emerging security threats.
Manage printer and fax systems and external support contacts.
Maintain and improve assigned communications systems.
Responsible for daily monitoring of designated server applications related to user’s endpoints.
Provide user assistance and training on PC and application operation.
Develop appropriate automation tools to improve end-user experiences and eliminate exceptions.
Assist IT Manager in collection and measurement of department metrics, cost and use statistics.
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or equivalent
3-5 years IT and Helpdesk experience
Ability to troubleshoot and repair equipment and Operating Systems
Knowledge of Identity Management, Networking, and Deployment Methods is a plus
