Accounting & Finance, Administration & Customer Service
SUMMARY We are looking for someone with an administrative background with basic accounting skills. This person will handle multiple tasks, in the small professional branch office of a larger company. This is a quiet office, and most of the work in this role is creating, updating and managing documents.
POSITION Responsibilities include: • Answering phones and assisting callers • Sorting and distributing incoming mail and faxes. Preparing outgoing mail • Processing incoming documents and information. Forward information and documents to the right staff. Save information to various databases, forms and spreadsheets • Type up reports, documents and correspondence, and send out • Work on special projects and internet research • Gather and enter data for accounts payable, accounts receivable and payroll • Ordering office supplies
Weekly work schedule of Monday – Friday 8:00 am – 4:30 pm. Pays $15.00 – $18.00 an hour to start. Benefits are offered.
REQUIREMENTS • Professional administrative office experience; with basic accounting experience (payroll is not required) • Experience editing and formatting documents. Good writing and proof reading skills • Ability to follow direction. Strong attention to detail and accuracy • Ability to spot and correct mistakes • Ability to organize and prioritize own work • Must be dependable • Professional phone skills • Good Microsoft Word and Excel skills. Proficient typing skills • Must be able to pass a pre-employment criminal background check and drug screen
