We are currently working with a highly technical Butler County manufacturer with over 90 years in business to identify a Sr. Electrical Engineer. Reporting to a Project Manager, the Sr. Electrical Engineer will join the design and development team working with up-to-date advanced technology.
Our client is looking to hire a well-rounded Sr. Electrical Engineer with strong leadership and a diverse skill set. Working in a causal steady environment, this person will be responsible for new product development while improving efficiencies.

POSITION The Sr. Electrical Engineer with experience in design and integration of control systems:
• Will be responsible for the design and integration of control systems. • Will utilize microcontroller, DSP, FPGA and PLC as the main controller for control systems. • Will conduct design, development, implementation and testing of new products and redevelopment of older products. • Will be responsible for improving productivities and reducing production cost. • Will use Linux and Windows OS. • Have the flexibility to actively work on multiple projects while reporting to project managers. • Working directly with engineering team while serving as a mentor to junior level engineers. • Projects consist of a broad line of products and services typically working in a 1-2-year timeframe. • All projects include FPGA (Field Programmable Gate Array) control systems.
REQUIREMENTS • Minimum B.S. in Electrical Engineer. • 8+ years’ experience in similar role; more experience is preferred. • Expert knowledge with FPGA-based motion control systems and stepper motors. • Expert knowledge with embedded system design and digital circuit design. • Expert knowledge with assembly programs, VHDL, PLC’s & DSP’s. • Experience using several different software applications; Altium, OrCad, Linear Tech Power Play, PCB Artist, etc. • Experience using several different devices; Logic Analyzer, Power Supplies, Soldering Iron, Oscilloscope, Function Generator, etc. • Must be able to pass a pre-employment criminal background check and drug screen.
