Our client, a growing, established software consulting company, has an immediate need for a Sr. Automated QA Analyst to join in on several high-profile development projects. The focus of the work will be to collaborate closely with Software Engineers throughout the software development life cycle, applying contemporary software quality assurance processes and automated tools, while providing comprehensive reporting of defects.

Solidify testing requirements
Create detailed and effective test cases, test plans, and test scripts
Perform thorough automated testing utilizing Coded UI and other tools
Prepare detailed defect reports for the development team
Dive into difficult problems and successfully deliver results on schedule
A minimum of 5 years of software quality assurance experience, at least half of it working with automated test cases
Strong understanding of different software development life cycles and contemporary software quality assurance processes and automated tools
Experience with Coded UI Automation strongly preferred
Familiarity with source control systems including github, subversion, or TFVC within TFS
Familiarity with unit-testing frameworks like NUnit or JUnit
Familiarity with Karma, Jasmine, or Chutzpah a plus
Strong analytical skills and experience with implementation and administration of Software Quality Assurance metrics, such as defect profiles and performance to entry/exit criteria
Strong attention to detail with respect to documentation and communication
BS/BA degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related discipline preferred
