Our Client, a leading Pittsburgh-based provider of Medical Software, is currently seeking candidates for a UI/UX Designer role. Work with the development team to provide HTML/CSS for driving the company’s web applications, using best-practice web development tools.
Work with internal stakeholders to understand the needs of the user; including participation in user-centric design methodologies including user interviews and Contextual Design strategies. Prototype and build UI implementation.
BS degree in User Experience, User Interface, or related field; or equivalent experience.
Strong skills and demonstrated experience with HTML/CSS and related technologies required.
Strong skills and demonstrated experience with some form of CSS pre-processor (I.e. LESS or SASS) required.
Experience working alongside a development team (software engineers and QA) using Agile software development methodology required.
Ability to communicate design direction effectively.
Ability to manage multiple ongoing projects.
Portfolio of past work including HTML/CSS samples required.
Experience with user interviews/Contextual Design methodology preferred.
