Production Assembler 6 am to 2 pm. Monday through Friday $12.00/hour.
10 pm to 6 am. for 12.75 per hour
The Production Assembler position will be responsible for assembling vinyl components of windows and doors. Processes include insertion or positioning of materials, fabricating, clamping, splicing, fitting parts and use of both hand and power tools. Common woodworking environment, chop saw, table saw, nail guns, tape measure.
Duties and Responsibilities:
o Good manual dexterity and hand-eye coordination. o Reading a tape measure to size materials. o Ability to work in a fast-paced environment. o Maintain good workstation housekeeping. o Self-motivated and willing to work with minimal supervision. o Must be flexible to work 8+ hour shifts when needed. o Additional Notes: This is not necessarily an exhaustive list of all responsibilities, skills, duties, requirements, efforts or working conditions associated with the job. High School Diploma or GED.
Work Experience Requirements:
Minimum of 5 years’ experience in manufacturing and/or industrial engineering management. Special Requirements:
o Team oriented o Strong communication skills o Able to read, write, and use a ruler o Good organization skills o Carpentry skills a plus o Aptitude to learn and become proficient with Company products.
o Physical Requirements:
Must be able to lift/carry materials up to 50lbs, move about the work site, turn on and operate a computer in the applicable environment, communicate efficiently on the telephone or in person. Exposed to noise and dust in manufacturing plant and warehouse environment. Requires prolonged periods of standing and walking. Subject to long, irregular hours.
