As a Technology Engineer Senior (UI) within PNC's C&IB MIS organization, you will be based in Pittsburgh/Cleveland/Columbus.
-Work with the product and UX management team, coordinate to gather requirements and understand current UI standards
-Technical expertise in the design, development, coding, testing, and debugging of software
-Lead team of UI developers and provide architecture and design guidance
-Work on a digital transformation of a large customer facing online banking portal
- Ensure that software meets or exceed specified standards and end-user requirements.
Leads in the development of the most complex new and emerging technologies.
Develops software components and hardware for new and emerging technology projects; aligns these with business strategies and objectives.
Consults junior staff regarding complex issues and best practices.
Provides a systematic analysis on the most complex client requirements within the traceability framework and resolves any functional problems encountered.
Oversees the quality of complex project deliverables while ensuring that they are in compliance with relevant standards and processes.
-Previous experience as Java/J2EE front end lead/architect
- Strong Knowledge in UI/ MVC architecture
-Strong knowledge on HTML 5/ CSS3 standards
-Experience in UI metadata development (SASS or LESS)
-Hands on experience in UI optimization best practice implementations
-Strong knowledge of UI development (JSP, HTML, CSS, Angular JS, XML)
-Experience in a continuous integration environment (Preferably Jenkins) and plugins for UI standard checking
-Experience with dynamic prototyping tool to generate prototype from requirements/ static html code (custom development experience preferable)
- Practical experience in developing complex, high-traffic websites
-Design Thinking, Agile, Pace
-Layering and Lean UX methodologies
-Excellent written and oral communication skills
-Excellent organizational and coordination skills
-Ability to work both independently and with a team.
