Position Type: Contract, Possible Contract to Hire
We are seeking Customer Service Representatives to work for one of our healthcare clients in downtown Pittsburgh. Candidates will need to have experience working with medical providers over the phone and will also need to have working knowledge of medical claims.
Hours will be daylight and range from 7:00 AM – 5:15 PM, Monday through Friday
Job Duties (Including but not limited to):
Answer incoming calls from medical providers in a professional manner as they relate to questions about eligibility, benefits, coverage and medical claims while following fundamentals of HIPAA compliance rules and regulations
Listen actively and ask questions when appropriate to identify specific needs or issues while documenting required information in computer systems
Take ownership of tasks from start to finish and ensure resolution
Ability to review healthcare claims from medical providers (doctors offices, clinics) by navigating various computer systems and platforms (this is NOT a claims processing role but you’ll need to be comfortable reviewing claims)
Meet/exceed goals established for the position in the areas of personal conduct, accuracy, quality, provider satisfaction and overall attendance
Experience with claims and in a healthcare customer service call center comprised of 20 or more individuals is required

Solid work history
Ability to type at least 35 WPM with accuracy
Ability to work a shift between 7:00 AM – 5:15 PM
High School Diploma or GED
Experience using Microsoft Office Applications (Excel, Word)
