The University of Pittsburgh's Computing Services and Systems Development (CSSD) department is seeking an advanced Salesforce Engineer for the Enterprise CRM team. This position requires the incumbent to design, develop, test, document and implement software to support the Salesforce application and related internal and third party integrations.
The incumbent will: - Deploy high quality business solutions on the Salesforce platform - code and administer, identify, design, construct custom solutions - Work closely with customers, business analysts, and team members to understand business requirements that drive the analysis and design of quality technical solutions - Apply system solutions to business problems through design and programming - Provide support and troubleshoot system issues Excellent Salesforce technical skills, as well as project, communication, and customer service skills are required to be successful in this position.
On occasion, some evening and weekend work may be necessary depending on business load, project timeline requirements, or scheduled downtime changes. Unscheduled or urgent support outside of business hours may occur. The incumbent will be responsible for carrying an escalation cell phone on a rotating schedule.
