High school diploma required; Business school graduate or college degree preferred.
Three years administrative experience required; experience with an IT department preferred
Knowledge of company operations, products, policies, personnel and clients required; financial industry and mutual fund knowledge preferred.
Proficiency in Microsoft Word required; experience with Excel, Power Point, Access, SharePoint, Visio and internal Federated database systems preferred.
Financial background preferred.
Provide administrative support to the management team within the Business Information Services Division (BISD).
Anticipate and prepare materials needed by management for conferences, correspondence, appointments, meetings, telephone calls, etc.
Manage and coordinate files for various areas within BISD following Federated’s electronic retention policies
Maintain SharePoint site(s)
Collect, compile, and analyze moderately complex data and information for inclusion in reports or presentation materials
Receive and respond to routine correspondence following established procedures not requiring management review
Supervise the maintenance of office equipment, including printer, copier, fax machine, etc.
Anticipate and suggest ideas for improving processes and procedures to improve efficiencies and effectiveness; implement improvements in office time management and administrative techniques.
General Administrative functions to include the preparation of expense reports; making travel arrangements; distribution of mail; ordering of office supplies; prepare seminar/conference registrations; coordinate divisional/departmental meetings, projects, training requirements and other projects.
