DEPARTMENT/TEAM DESCRIPTION HRIS (Human Resources Information Systems) Department – Responsible for managing and maintaining employee data, managing and maintaining organizational management structure in SAPHR, providing SAPHR system support, 3rd Party interface support, Ad Hoc Reporting, HR Data Analytics
POSITION SUMMARY This position will be responsible for providing expertise with SAP OM functional, analytical and technical aspects in managing the desired outcome of HR System while providing recommended solutions and ensuring compliance is met. This includes ownership in the areas of OM Processes, data models, governance, data quality & auditing, downstream impacts of OM data, mass data entry and consultation during large projects such as M&A and Reorganizations. This requires working closely with the HRBPs, HR Generalists, HR Experts, HR Operations and managers to gather requirements, define scope, develop business requirements, test expected results and drive through implementation
Provide overall HR System support including processing Batch Data Loads, troubleshooting operational issues, support of the U.S. HR system testing activities & acting as a liaison to HR Apps as needed.
POSITION DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
• Provide expert support to HR community in guiding the OM structure of their client groups. This requires full knowledge of SAP Organizational Management coupled with a good understanding of business needs *Courage to challenge HRBPs / Generalists in aligning with the appropriate guidelines while also being accountable to adherence of the approved structure *Support Bayer businesses with various initiatives such as reorganizations, mergers & acquisitions and divestitures. Provide proficient functional and technical support in plan, design, development and execution of test plans following through implementation. * Assume ownership of the OM component of the HR system and Process & Monitor integrity of the data within the HR system * Provide general HRIS support by processing batch data loads, responding to helpdesk requests and support global processes such as GUMS / IAM, and work with other Bayer departments to ensure compliance as well as to troubleshoot operational issues * Provide general HRIS support to the HR community, and act as liaison between the user and HR Apps technical team as needed
REQUIREMENTS/PREFERENCES Education Requirement(s): • Bachelor’s degree (technical or business degree)
Skill & Competency Requirements:
- 5+ years of experience in the range of SAP HR system implementation and maintenance - Knowledge of system techniques (esp. for HR) and HR development - Good knowledge of specific features in the area of HR System Landscape Management (e.g. SAP system configuration) - 3+ years of experience of necessary tools (SAP HR, Excel, Access) - Demonstrated collaborative skills and ability to work well within a team - Strong analytic problem-solving, critical-thinking skills - Sound organizational skills to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities
Preferences: • SAP HR experience • Project management experience • Experience creating medium to complex reports (SQL, Access)
Additional Salary Information: $49.62/hr.
