The Systems Architect 1 will provide hands-on IT infrastructure support in an office environment. Major Responsibilities: The Systems Architect is a member of the Desktop Management Team and is responsible to support the software and hardware solutions for the desktop environment used throughout the corporation. The successful candidate will have a detailed knowledge of endpoint technologies and their application in an enterprise environment. The list of responsibilities includes: • Work with internal customers to architect modern desktop management solutions using Windows 10 and SCCM. • Gather business, communication and functional objectives by leading working sessions, reviewing the competitive landscape, and creative brainstorming sessions with the project team. • Experience in deployment of Windows 7 and 10. • Responsible for the architecture design, implementation and/or migration of System Center Configuration Manager (SCCM) in multiple client environments • Design and deployment of solutions with SCCM. • Application Packaging, patching and Distribution. • Device compliance monitoring and reporting. • Manage and maintain Bit Locker encryption solution. • Knowledge and experience with PowerShell scripting. • Lead peers and customers through detailed assessment and design process for Endpoint deployments. • Act as the final escalation point for complex technical issues. • Architect solutions focused on cost efficiency and performance optimization meeting the needs of the Enterprise, identify new and creative opportunities that leverage technology to support additional business processes or function. • Expert knowledge of building and maintaining corporate desktop/laptop images. • Ability to manage time effectively, set priorities appropriately, schedule calls. • Ability to document technical support of resolutions, processes and procedures. • Provide 3rd level support for endpoint issues.
Minimum Requirements: • 4 years’ experience supporting an enterprise network, or equivalent experience preferred. • Must have competency in at least one of the following: Endpoint Management, Endpoint Protection, Encryption, Antivirus system management. • General IT Infrastructure support, as required, including: o PC Troubleshooting and installation or equivalent IT Infrastructure support experience o Desktop application support Software installation and management • Valid driver’s license Education: Bachelor’s Degree required and/or equivalent work experience.
• Experience with Dell DDPE server. • Knowledge of Group policy
