Generate new business and grow existing accounts within assigned territory or industries
Conduct and manage the full range of sales activities of cold calling, lead generation, customer presentation, proposal generation, terms negotiation, and close
Negotiate and close large, fixed price contracts involving the delivery of software, equipment, and services
Maintain exceptional post implementation customer relationships through regular communication to monitor satisfaction and identify add-on sales opportunities
Work with Engineering/Development to define product improvements and new solutions
Participate in industry conferences, trade shows, speaking engagements, etc.
Seasoned professional with proven track record of successfully selling into Distribution (Warehouse) / Manufacturing industries – or – large software / solution systems sales at the VP level or higher (This must be demonstrated as a part of the interview process)
Minimum of five (5) years of technical or solution based sales
Demonstrated record of meeting or exceeding sales quota
BS in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, Logistics, or significant and relevant work experience in addition to a different degree
Ability to travel as needed to conduct sales activities
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
Background in distribution, logistics or manufacturing (preferred)
