Essential Duties and Responsibilities
As an Account Manager, you will be the primary point of contact for various interactions with public school administrators who work for districts belonging to our network. You will also be responsible for the retention and growth of our existing client relationships which will be maintained through careful, accurate and consistent communications with district decision-makers
Essential to this role are project management, organization, coordination and communication skills as they relate to clients and internal stakeholders, consulting expertise, problem-solving, quick thinking and the ability to balance company and client objectives.
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
Strong experience in account management dealing with client organizations at the administrative level
Ability to evaluate client issues and provide logical solutions to promote client satisfaction
Desire to “own your accounts” and foster a collaborative client relationship
Management of multiple priorities within a deadline-driven environment
Unwavering commitment to quality and accuracy of communications
Experience in presentation development and public speaking essential
Excellent communication skills
Timely tracking of account metrics
Ability to collaborate with internal partners
Willingness to travel overnight, as needed
Education &/or Experience
Bachelor’s degree with 5-7 years of experience. Advanced degree in public administration or MBA preferred
Experience with a large consulting firm, educational service company or public schools is a plus
Excellent organizational, time management, communication, customer support and project management skills
Experience analyzing data
Ability to work and think independently within a framework of best practices and common goals is essential
Computer literate with skills in Microsoft Office, Google Drive, and online technologies
Experience with Adobe Creative Suite preferred, but not required
Excellent writing skills and superior attention to detail
