This opportunity is to fill the first full time sales role at HEBI Robotics. As such, the role represents a combination of sales manager, strategist, and engineer. The ideal candidate will have a passion for robots, experience building robots, an understanding of and appreciation for HEBI Robotics’ approach to robotics, and the ability to help implement a sales strategy and build a sales team.
Create and manage pipeline of sales leads
Clarify customer and prospect technical requirements and work with engineering team to craft the right solution
Coordinate and conduct outreach events such as robotics workshops
Maintain strong follow-up with customers to ensure satisfaction and gather data about use cases
Evaluate events and conferences that may help HEBI Robotics spread our message, and coordinate participation in those events.
Use customer and prospect data to advise marketing, sales and technology strategy
Solid understanding of robotics concepts
This role will focus on sales to academic and research organizations. Experience working with robotics and engineering labs is a plus
Ability to learn quickly and adapt to varying customer demands
Detail oriented and organized
Ability to relocate to sunny Pittsburgh, PA
