Our client, a leader in the entertainment industry, is hiring a Web Master. This is a full-time, direct hire position located to the south of the City of Pittsburgh. This position is responsible for the management of the overall web site. The ideal candidate will have at least three years of experience.
Manage web site while overseeing the integrity of the daily content.
Interact with the Development team to ensure consistent and efficient functionality across all web sites.
Test, maintain and optimize responsive design and ensure the web site is rendered properly across devices and browsers.
Interact with IT Department for performance issues and web site updates.
Build mini-sites using HTML5 and CSS3.
Design, code, QA and deploy email campaigns
Work with Marketing and Content departments to ensure that design, copy, UI/UX and site integrity are on brand and consistent with our clients’ web strategy.
Manage access rights of various web site users and content contributors.
Maintain web site analytics and performance reporting to leadership on a regular basis to ensure integration of all marketing initiatives is properly represented on the web site and on brand.
Three or more years of experience in web site management including testing throughout multiple browsers, user testing / simulations and rendering.
Thorough knowledge of Search Engine Optimization (SEO) techniques.
Ability to manage multiple team members as well as outside resources such as agencies and freelance employees.
Ability to work cross-functionally (services, sales, product management, etc.) to obtain consensus on marketing projects while keeping deliverables on track.
Strong organizational skills and attention to detail while working under aggressive time constraints.
Strong ability to schedule and prioritize work effectively in order to meet critical deadlines.
Strong aptitude for learning new technologies.
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field.
