Peak Technical Consulting, a provider of IT consulting/staffing services, is seeking a high energy, self-motivated Account Manager to join our growing team. This position will be based out of our Fox Chapel, office and have a regional and national reach.
Perform professional presentations.
Penetrate targeted accounts.
Overcome objections of prospective customers.
Emphasize service value propositions, quote prices, discuss credit terms, and prepare sales reports.
Build and foster a network of referrals to create new opportunities for revenue growth.
Generate and develop new customer accounts to increase revenue, by cold-calling.
Use marketing data to maximize sales efficiency and effectiveness.
Maintain accurate records and reports, including but not limited to, expense reports, sales reports, CRM data, etc.
Build and maintain ongoing awareness of new services by monitoring competition through the gathering of current marketplace information on pricing, service, competitor activities, and other research.
Key Qualifications / Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in business/marketing or related field is highly preferred; or equivalent of 3 years’ experience in a sales position with demonstrated sales success.
Knowledge of the IT industry is preferred.
Network of customer contacts within the IT industry is preferred.
Demonstrated ability to convert prospects and close deals.
Professional demeanor, selling style, and appearance.
Experience in opportunity qualification, pre-visit planning, call control, account development, and time management.
Able to build and maintain lasting relationships with customers.
Exceptional verbal communication, presentation and listening skills.
Self-motivated, with high energy and an engaging level of enthusiasm.
High level of integrity and work ethic.
Must be organized and possess good time management skills.
Proficiency in Microsoft Suite (Excel, Word, Powerpoint)
