A medical equipment supplier, located near Washington, PA, is seeking a Service Technician.
Reports to the Service Manager and Customer Service Manager.
Will be responsible for the installation and repair of medical equipment primarily at customers’ homes and at times within the company warehouse.
Field phone calls from customers and provide diagnosis and problem resolution over the phone when necessary.
Understand and successfully present to others the features and benefits of all products and services the Company offers.
Take a lead role in resolving technical problems that the consumer may have, including understanding how to properly and safely use the equipment.
Understand and successfully present the company’s payment collection process with our clients.
Complete all company paperwork with accuracy.
Provide excellent customer service.
Will travel throughout the tri-state area.
Other duties, as assigned
HS Diploma or AS Degree and a minimum of 1 year of related mechanical and electrical assembly, installation and repair experience
Must have strong mechanical and electrical skills
Ability to use hand and power tools; must have basic tools
Must be able to lift up to 50-60 lbs. (will be provided a safety belt if required)
Must have good computer skills
Maintain a clean background, clean driving record and drug-free
Hours: Monday-Friday, 8:30am-5:00pm, plus possible OT
Additional Salary Information: Pay rate depends on experience
