Position: Purchasing Coordinator Location: Zelienople, Pa Pay: Based on experience. Hours: Monday thru Friday, 8 am to 5 pm (1-hour unpaid lunch).
Purchasing Coordinator: Sourcing Department A Zelienople based company that specializes in providing quality Interior Design Services, Project Management and FF&E procurement to the hotel industry. Founded in 2001, we continue to lead the way with our commitment to create a memorable experience for our clients while maintaining their profitability. With over 15 years of hotel operation experience, we understand the challenges hotel operators face. We listen to our customer concerns and provide solutions that achieve their business goals. Our company is currently looking for an addition to our Sourcing Team. This is a full time, salary position. The Purchasing Coordinatorâ€™s main goal is to work with Suppliers to provide the best costs for Company purchases.
Responsibilities include but are not limited to: â€¢ Gather pricing from Suppliers: Contacting Suppliers for pricing for predetermined items as requested by Company staff Interior Designers â€¢ Enter pricing data: add pricing received from Suppliers into COMPANYâ€™s proprietary software program â€¢ Provide price comparison documentation: utilizing MS Excel, prepare cost comparisons as needed â€¢ Communication efforts: work with Category Specialist Purchasing Managers to complete projects to meet required deadlines â€¢ Assist Purchasing Managers: as required to meet deadlines â€¢ Update quoting software data: be responsible for pricing and expiration updates in COMPANY proprietary software for library items, standard master quotes and budget quotes â€¢ Ecommerce data updates: work with Ecommerce team to update library pricing for Ecommerce items
Skills and Experience: â€¢ Have sourcing or purchasing experience â€¢ Detail oriented striving for accuracy and speed â€¢ Good people skills to communicate with COMPANY staff and Suppliers â€¢ Self-starter committed to excellence: accuracy in work and attention to detail â€¢ Proficient with MS Outlook, Excel, Word and Windows Explorer â€¢ Willingness to use COMPANY proprietary quoting and supply chain software. â€¢ Outstanding organizational, time management skills and work ethic â€¢ Demonstrate ability to work independently and as a team
