POSITION TITLE: DIGITAL INSIGHTS MANAGER / SENIOR DIGITAL INSIGHTS ANALYST
DEPARTMENT: MARKETING AND COMMUNICATIONS
Bachelor degree in statistics, business, or marketing required.
Bachelor degree in quantitative analysis, market research, or digital marketing preferred.
Minimum 3-5 years of experience in an analytics role (statistical analysis, campaign analysis, predictive analytics, segmentation, and research analytics) providing actionable insights required; 3- 7 years of experience working in or closely with a marketing team preferred.
Some understanding of financial terms and investment products required; Basic understanding of mutual funds and distribution models preferred.
Experience using a website analytics program such as Google Analytics required.
Prior experience with website content management systems preferred.
Email campaign management and analysis skills preferred.
Understanding of social media platforms and their features and/or monitoring/listening software preferred.
Familiarity with Sales Lead Generation and programmatic advertising preferred.
**The experience level of the candidate will determine level of position as Senior Digital Insights Analyst or Digital Insights Manager. **
Oversee regularly produced analytical reports on all of Federated’s website properties, email campaigns, lead scoring/marketing automation programs, advertising programs and social media properties. Ensure consistent, detailed and accurate reporting then identify key takeaways and trends – what worked, what didn’t and ways to potentially improve our results.
Analyze data in order to find the headlines for Marketing, Sales and Product Management to understand and act upon.
Identify gaps in existing data and work with internal resources to implement processes to begin collecting the necessary information.
Manage Federated’s marketing lead scoring/marketing automation database. Work with internal sales to update alerts and maintain/generate lead programs. Continue to evolve the program and integration as appropriate.
Collect and analyze data to evaluate existing and potential online marketing opportunities. Use website, email, advertising and/or social media tracking applications to recognize user patterns and trends to help formulate effective marketing techniques. Utilize and develop customer personas then build out a consumer roadmap to enable us to leverage the entire consumer digital experience.
Interact with Sales and Sales Analytics Manager to deliver to Marketing and Sales actionable insights about product and market trends that could drive Sales and Marketing initiatives.
Serve as digital marketing’s project manager for key projects involving the installation and/or upgrading of applications.
Meet regularly with the manager and other key constituents to discuss ways to improve how we promote our content online and in other forms of digital media based on strategic analytics.
Assist the manager, as requested, with drafting plans, proposals and presentations that reflect the agreed-upon department and team goals, deadlines and budget.
