First Insight is looking for a top-tier candidate for the Product Manager role to join our team. The ideal candidate has proven technology product management skills, is highly organized and an excellent problem solver and has experience working and thriving in a fast-paced environment.
Sets overall product line direction based on an in-depth understanding of the market and the strategic objectives of the company.
Gathers product requirements from multiple external and internal sources, prioritizes these requirements, and works with the product development team to create and maintain a product roadmap.
Manages customer-specific commitments for new product features.
Communicates the roadmap and commitments to internal constituents
Regularly perform competitive analysis and incorporates competitive positioning into the product strategy.
Manages the First Insight price list.
Develops sales tools and training for new product launches
Manages product portfolio including web and mobile applications, APIs and interaction with external systems/vendors
Performs other related duties and assignments as required.
Product management experience in a technology company is required.
Strong analytical, problem-solving, communication and presentation skills required.
An attention to detail and appreciation of deadlines is essential.
Strong communication skills are a must to be able to move projects through cross-functional teams.
Strong understanding of project management principles. Agile experience is a plus.
Ability to present ideas in business-friendly and user-friendly language.
Highly self-motivated and directed.
Ability to effectively prioritize and execute tasks in a high-pressure environment.
Extensive experience working in a team-oriented, collaborative environment.
Must be proficient in Word, Power Point and Excel.
Willing to travel 30-50% of the time.
Must be authorized to work in the United States
Resides in (or able to relocate to) Pittsburgh, PA.
